Privacy Policy for Eloquence Chess

1. Overview

Eloquence Chess is an offline-first chess coaching app for iPhone and iPad developed by Kaspar Media. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Eloquence Chess does not require an account and is designed so that games, ratings, reviews, saved training positions, preferences and coaching information remain on your device.

2. Data Collection

Kaspar Media does not collect personal data through Eloquence Chess. The app does not include third-party advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs and does not use tracking technologies to follow you across apps or websites.

The app does not operate a central player account system or a remote gameplay database.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

Eloquence Chess stores information locally that is needed to provide its features. This may include:

• Games, moves and game results
• Classic Rating and rating history
• Local game reviews, critical moments and move classifications
• Saved mistakes and Academy training progress
• App preferences, language, appearance and board settings
• An optional profile name entered by you
• Verified App Store entitlement status required to unlock optional Pro features

This information is used locally to provide gameplay, analysis, history, statistics, training and personalization.

4. On-Device Chess Analysis and Coaching

The Arasan chess engine analyzes positions locally on your device. Eloquence Chess does not send your games to a Kaspar Media server or an online chess-analysis service.

On supported devices, Apple Foundation Models may be used as an optional on-device presentation layer to phrase coaching from verified chess facts. Core gameplay and deterministic coaching do not depend on an online language-model service.

5. Purchases

If you choose an optional paid offer, Apple processes the purchase through the App Store and StoreKit. Kaspar Media does not receive or store your full payment-card details, billing address or Apple Account credentials.

Eloquence Chess receives only the StoreKit product and verified entitlement information needed to display offers, unlock Pro access, restore purchases and manage access status.

6. Advertising, Analytics and Tracking

Eloquence Chess contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics SDKs. The app does not sell personal data and does not track users across third-party apps or websites.

7. Apple Services and Backups

The app may rely on Apple services and system features such as the App Store, StoreKit, operating-system settings and on-device Foundation Models where available. Apple handles information under its own terms and privacy policies.

Locally stored app data may be included in device backups depending on your iOS, Apple Account and backup settings. Kaspar Media does not control those backup services.

8. Support Communications

Eloquence Chess itself does not collect contact information. If you voluntarily contact Kaspar Media by email, we receive the email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond to your request, prevent abuse and maintain necessary support records.

Please do not send sensitive personal information or payment credentials in a support request.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Local game and training data remains on your device until it is removed through the app, overwritten by normal app operation or deleted with the app. The in-app Reset Statistics option removes local game history, reviews, saved mistakes and rating progress while keeping app preferences and the optional profile name.

Deleting Eloquence Chess removes its remaining locally stored data, subject to your device and backup settings. App Store purchase records are managed by Apple and may remain available so purchases can be restored.

10. Children's Privacy

Eloquence Chess does not knowingly collect personal data from children through the app. If you believe personal information has been sent to Kaspar Media through a support communication, please contact us so that we can review the request.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning personal information. Because Eloquence Chess does not operate a user account or collect gameplay data, Kaspar Media normally has no off-device gameplay record to access, correct or delete.
