Terms of use

1. The game

Due Diligence Club is a single-player economic strategy and decision game by Kaspar Media. The companies, cases, markets, financial records and results are simulated. The game does not execute real investments, lending, tax assessments or legal proceedings, and does not provide professional advice.

2. App license

For copies distributed through the App Store, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies unless a different license is expressly provided with the app. Any restrictions remain subject to rights granted by applicable law.

3. Demo and full game

The current implementation provides a limited entrepreneur demo and a non-consumable purchase to unlock the full game. Demo limits, included roles, availability and the final price are displayed in the app. The full-game unlock is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Your existing demo save can continue after the full game is unlocked.

Apple processes purchases and restore requests. Use the app’s Restore Purchases option with the Apple account used for the original purchase. Refund requests are handled through Apple’s purchase support. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

4. Saves and game results

Career progress and local statistics are stored on your device. Deleting the app or resetting data may permanently remove progress. A restored purchase restores access to the full game; it does not restore a deleted local save. Optional iCloud backup uses Apple GameKit Saved Games and requires your explicit activation, Game Center sign-in and iCloud Drive. Demo runs and learning tasks remain local. Turning backup off does not erase an existing cloud copy. A backup can only restore the progress actually included in it; loading a backup replaces local progress and the app retains a local recovery copy. Resolve conflicting versions carefully before replacing a save.

Game Center scores and achievements depend on Apple service availability and your sign-in status. Demo-origin runs may be treated separately from full careers in rankings.

5. Fair play

Please do not interfere with purchase verification, submit manipulated scores or disrupt services used by the app. Use of the app must comply with applicable law and the relevant Apple service terms.

6. Updates and availability

Updates may adjust simulated markets, difficulty, balancing and game systems. Results are not guaranteed and can include losses or failed careers. The App Store listing identifies supported devices and operating systems. Online Apple services may be temporarily unavailable.

7. Consumer rights

These terms do not exclude or limit mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. The Apple license and applicable law govern any further warranty, liability and dispute provisions.
